Niche Keyword Research with Market Samurai

In my last Market Samurai tutorial, I showed you how great Market Samurai is at finding & evaluating micro niches. I have had a lot of requests for a tutorial showing a more in-depth keyword research using Market Samurai. In this tutorial I’ll look for a niche in the fitness area, and then once I have decided on the niche, I’ll show you how to go about identifying phrases to use within that niche (as well as how to structure your site).

One Click Import of Market Samurai Data into KRA Pro

This video shows you a new feature coming to KRA Pro.  Its not live as I type this post, but should be sometime in the first week of November.  KRA Pro owners will be notified by the automatic update feature in KRA Pro when the update is ready.  Importing your Market Samurai data into KRA Pro is going to be a one (OK, maybe two) click process, and there is no more fiddling with import profiles or making do with column headers that aren’t quite right.

Using Market Samurai to Find & Evaluate Micro Niches

There are a number of Micro Niche Finder tools out there, with perhaps the best known being Micro Niche Finder.  More recently, Jonathan Ledger has come out with the excellent Niche Horde.  However, with money being tight, it would be nice if you could rely on just one keyword tool.  Well, Market Samurai might just be that tool.  I use it to research large sites, and I use it to research micro niche sites. In this tutorial I want to share with you my technique for narrowing down a niche into a micro niche, and evaluating it to see if it would be worth targeting for a mini-adsense site.  Feel free to leave a comment at the end of this page.

Nichebot Review

image

Nichebot is a keyword research tool with a lot of extra features.  One of the problems I have had with this tool over the years is that it is constantly changing, both appearance, features and keyword sources.  However, if you take the time to learn this tool, there is a wealth of information available.  I have spoken with Jin Morris of Nichebot recently, and he tells me a lot more changes are coming, and these should be for the better.  A new interface is on its way, as well as some new data.

I’ll be writing a full review of Nichebot soon, followed by specific Nichebot tutorials.  Check back soon..
